Browser Issuw in IE8

Hi All,

I have installed mrStudio 4.5 in windows vista, while calling External browser (IE it opens a new page each time i click next while running the survey in debug mode.

can anybody suggest any solution for this?

Hi Praneet,
I'm not really familiar with Vista nor IE8. However for sure mrStudio 4.5 is not supported for both of them. Actually I am running 5.5 and/or 5.6 both on Windows XP. But after the installation of IE8 I changed my standard browser to Firefox as I was experiencing a lot of boring things when using IE. So it is not really surprising for me that you encounter problems, even while I've never heard of the things you are reporting. So to get things running smoothly you should move to XP with IE7 - but this is probably only a theoretical option. If possible I'd suggest to upgrade to a newer version of Dimensions, however 5.5 appears still not to support IE8.

Actually, I am just using mrstudio, without mrinterview and it's working fine while using internal browser. but whei i switch to external browser, its opening a new page each time i click next on running interview. also i cannot degrade my browser as in windows vista default browser is IE8 only. also as our client is working on IE only, i cannot switch to firefox as well.
